A journey through the villages of the "Lands of Faenza", discovering numerous suggestions between art and traditional ceramics, wine-food deposits and natural sites.
Itinerary: visit to Faenza, Brisighella, Casola Valsenio, Riolo Terme, Castel Bolognese e Solarolo.
Term: 3 days - 2 nights.
Period: all year.
Fields of interest: ceramic art, food and wine, nature.
Travel Program:
1st day: arrival with your vehicle in Faenza and accommodation in hotel / farmhouses; meting with the guide and visit to Milzetti Palace, the Meuseum of Neoclassical; lunch with local products; in the afternoon visit to the International Ceramics Museum, to the historical center and to a ceramic work shop with demonstration of the decoration on majolica; dinner at the hotel / farmhouses.
2nd days: in the morning transfer to Brisighella, meeting with the guide and visit to the medieval village, to the fourteenth-century fortress and to the evocative Via degli Asini (Donkeys); visit to the Romanesque Pieve of Tho followed by tasting local products; transfer to Casola Valsenio and lunch at a typical restaurant / farmhouses, in the afternoon visit to the Abbay of Valsenio, to Cardello and to the Garden of Official Herbs; transfer to Riolo Terme,accommodation in hotel / farmhouses, dinner.
3rd days: in the morning visit to Riolo Terme and to the fortress; transfer to Castel Bolognese and visit to the city, to the Municipal Museum and to the outdoor Museum of Angelo Biancini sculptor; lunch with local products; in the afternoon visit to the Mill Scodellino, to the historical center of Solarolo and to the collection of ex-vote kept at the Shrine of Our Lady of Health; departure for the return.
